Kitty  ♀

Inti  ♀

Inti came to us just hours after birth, and had already experienced human indifference. A tourist who had just arrived on the island spotted her curled up beneath a plant while waiting by the hotel pool for her room to be ready. She alerted the staff, but—what a surprise—no one understood her.

The little one had been there for at least four hours, lying under the blazing sun while music played and people enjoyed themselves around her. Little by little, she was fading away, invisible to everyone. When the tourist contacted us and we saw the situation, we didn’t hesitate for a second: we had to save her. She carefully wrapped her in a towel and kept her safe until we could pick her up.

She’s a natural fighter, full of life and tenderness, reminding us how important it is not to look the other way.

When she turns two months old, Inti will be ready to find her forever home. We’re looking for a family to give her the love and security she has always deserved, preferably in a home with another cat, as she’s a very affectionate, playful little one who enjoys company.

Kitty lived in our housing complex parking lot. She was a little white cat who, step by step, started coming closer to our door until, one day, she decided our doormat was a good place to sleep.

And just like that, almost without realizing it, our story together began.

Kitty had ear cancer. We took her in, got her surgery, and had her spayed; that doormat stopped being her bed so my house could become her home.

We only got to share a year and a half with her.

After a life on the streets, enduring constant heat cycles and litters, breast cancer appeared, and eventually, we had to say goodbye to her.

She arrived looking for a place to sleep and ended up finding a family.

And without knowing it then, we found in that little white cat sleeping outside our door one of the first reasons to start changing the lives of so many other cats. 🤍
