About us

La Casita de Mishu is made up of a couple of individuals determined to change the lives of stray cats, dedicating their time and money to rescuing the cats from the streets of Ibiza from abandonment, disease and famine.

La Casita is our home, where the most needy cats (orphans, sick, abandoned...) live until they find homes and committed families willing to give them a second chance, giving them what they never had: warmth and love. Many of these animals arrive with a broken soul and healing a heart broken by abandonment, indifference and cruelty is truly hard, but there is nothing more rewarding than seeing the eyes of a grateful and happy animal.

We also fed a total of about 60 cats spread over 5 colonies, all fully controlled. We not only feed these animals, they are sterilized, dewormed and given veterinary attention whenever they need it. Sadly, the world has become indifferent to the suffering of these beings, which is why we also work to maintain the cat population using the CER method (capture, sterilization and return to its place of origin) to dignify the community cat and their right to life in freedom.
