Toupy

Toupy

If we talk about strength, joy, and a will to live, we are talking about Toupy. She was found in a forest as a tiny baby, on the verge of death. She had a deep bite wound on her neck that caused a serious infection, she couldn't get up or eat, and her little head was tilted. Even so, we decided not to give up on her. We fed her with a bottle and syringe, she started her treatment, and, little by little, Toupy came back to life. She learned to eat, to use the litter box, and, eventually, to run and play like any other kitten, although her little head remained slightly tilted, reminding her of what she overcame. Today, Toupy is completely healthy and full of energy. She is positive for feline immunodeficiency, but that doesn't affect her daily life at all: she plays, eats well, and gives out affection without measure. She is friendly, mischievous, and very loving. Now, she only lacks one thing for her story to have a happy ending: a home as amazing as she is. We are looking for a safe, protected place for Toupy, with another cat to keep her company, because she adores feline companionship. Toupy is living proof that love and hope can work miracles.
